Dreamlines
Several years ago, down in the parisian subway, I saw an airline advertisement that said:
In English, this translates to:
"The shortest path to go from one point to another is not a straight line, but the dream."
In January 2024 I showed the installation Frozen Dreams, Luminous Voices in the Night in the gallery of the Spitsbergen Artists Centre in Longyearbyen, Svalbard; a year later I took the same artwork to another desert, 5303.99 km to the south:
In the framework of the artistic residency at Café Tissardmine on 20 and 27 January 2025, I presented Frozen Dreams in the intimate space of a Sahara oasis under a magnificent starry night. This installation was reactivated on January 15, 2026, alongside the proposal of the new installation Deserted Dreams.
