Strange Trio.gmg live concert in Murano, Fornace Berengo, Biennale dell'Innovazione, Venezia, June 23rd 2017
Strange Group is a project involving different musicians playing original and peculiar repertoire: invited for a multi-sensorial happening or Biennale delle Innovazione in Venice, at the historic Fornace del vetro Berengo, Art Foundation, at Murano we have created a new trio: Cellist Manuel Zigante and composer and electronic performer Giuseppe Gavazza have several experiences as Strange Duo.mg, and also Strange Trio.mpg, Strange Trio.vgm. For this occurrence we have made a fusion of Strange Duo.mg (Zigante-Gavazza) with the group Solaris, Giorgio Li Calzi, trumpet and electronics, and Manuel Zigante at the cello.
The new group Strange Trio.gmg has proposed a selection of the previous composition of Solaris and Strange Duo.mg rearranged for the new group and some new compositions.

We believe that music, like the other arts, should not be used to entertain, decorate, distract, relax, reassure, or escape: instead, we think it can simply make people think.
In music and art, beautiful and pleasant are not synonymous, what is not pleasant is not necessarily unpleasant.
Complex, simple, difficult, and banal are not the four vertices of a Cartesian plane.
Artistic creation can only be a conscious innovation of history, navigation that shifts boundaries by sailing. It cannot serve because it must be free; starting with participation in every other form of human sensation, expression, and communication.
